Ashley Renee

Ashley is an acrylic painter who currently resides is Cleveland, Ohio. Her work focus’ on the exploration of different relationships with food. She is currently getting her BFA from Cleveland Institute of Art.

Her work has been exhibited at the Milwaukee Art Museum, a group exhibition at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and a group show at the Hildebrant in Cleveland, Ohio. Her upcoming show will be at Cain Park opening June 14th.

She fights to bring awareness to food insecurity and eating disorders through her work. She uses different mediums to communicate an edible texture and large, up close compositions for an overwhelming feel. She has receieved a national awards from Young Arts for her photography, two Gold Keys and two honorable mentions from Scholastic Arts and Writing, and multiple academic scholarships.
